About the Founder
James Hickman is a lifelong entrepreneur and investor that’s traveled to more than 120 countries on all seven continents. And I’ve started, invested in, or acquired businesses all over the world.
For example, I founded a South America-based agriculture company that has become one of the leading producers in its industry. A few years ago I acquired a prominent retail brand in Australia, purchasing the business from the former 1980s era rock star who founded it.
I started a boutique, private investment bank that boasts some of the highest levels of liquidity and solvency in the world. I’ve invested in companies from Colombia to Uzbekistan and serve on numerous Boards of Directors; and I was formerly Chairman of company listed on a major stock exchange.
I also co-founded a non-profit organization that provides entrepreneurship education to young people that’s been going strong since 2010.
I consider myself a global citizen. But I still believe in the fundamental ideals of America — freedom and self-reliance.
I believe that building wealth means taking risks and working hard to create value for others… not sitting around waiting for a government handout while a central bank conjures money out of thin air.
I’m a take charge leader, and integrity is at the core of everything I do. I graduated from West Point and served for several years as an Army Intelligence officer. This was a formative experience in my life that shaped my outlook on politics, economics, freedom, global opportunity… and the need to have a PLAN B.
I’m currently a resident of beautiful Puerto Rico where I enjoy sun, sea, and exceptional tax advantages.
